Clay Girl, Clay!!!

Hey!! Welcome to my website! I’m Mendy and it shouldn’t be too hard to figure out that I love love love to work in clay! I’m a graphic artist by education and my favorite style was and is stippling. But what started a few years ago as curiosity to try something new first because a hobby and now has become a true passion for me and has changed my life in ways I’d have never thought possible. These days, I am combining my graphics training and design experience with a whole lot of that good muddy stuff to create some unique pieces.

So feel free to browse the site and let me know what you think! I made everything you see here, and if you like any of the styles drop me a line. Here’s just a few examples of work I’ve done in other media, and I’ve also work in colored pencils, I’ve combined watercolors and sheet music, used acrylic paint on burlap, and more!

Reverse-painted window glass in frame, inspired by 1930s-era Russian avant-garde poster art.

Two tin ceiling tiles painted and mounted to an old diptych picture frame, which was also painted and antiqued.
